We are looking for a motivated Trainee Application Support professional to join our team in Lisbon.

About the Role
As a Trainee in Application Support, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance and availability of our applications.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, helping investigate issues, support users, and contribute to continuous improvements of our systems.
This role is perfect for someone curious, analytical, and eager to grow their technical and professional skills.
? Responsibilities
Monitor, analyse and support the daily operation of applications
Investigate and resolve technical incidents under guidance from senior team members
Assist in identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth deployments and updates
Support users by clarifying issues, documenting solutions and ensuring high service quality
Contribute to improving internal processes, documentation and knowledge base
Profile
Recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields (ISEL, Técnico, Nova or similar institutions)
Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
Basic understanding of programming or scripting (e.G., SQL, Python, Java, C#, Bash – any is a plus)
Interest in application support, systems, troubleshooting or operations
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and team spirit
Proactive attitude and curiosity to understand how systems work
Technical Nice-to-Haves
(Not required, but a plus!)
Knowledge of SQL
Exposure to Linux/Unix environments
Familiarity with APIs, logs or monitoring tools
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
