Job Description
We are looking for a Performance Test Lead (M/F) to work remotely, with the remote possibility of travelling occasionally.
The candidate must be resident in Portugal.
1. Key Responsibilities
2. Lead and manage performance testing activities across multiple teams and projects.
3. Develop performance testing frameworks using JMeter DSL and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
4. Design and execute performance, scalability, and load tests for applications and infrastructure.
5. Monitor application performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB, identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
6. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure performance is embedded in the SDLC.
7. Analyze performance metrics and generate comprehensive reports to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
8. Mentor junior team members and build performance engineering capabilities within the organization.
9. Ensure continuous improvement of performance testing and monitoring processes and tools.
10. Good communication skills (english), proactive/self-autonomous.
Qualifications
11. Required Skills and Experience
12. 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
13. Strong expertise in JMeter DSL for creating and automating performance tests.
14. Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB for monitoring and visualization.
15. Proficiency in Java for developing performance scripts and integrating with testing frameworks.
16. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and integrating performance tests into pipelines.
17. Deep understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices (load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing).
18. Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues.
19. Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based performance testing is a plus.
20. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
