We are looking for a Team Lead Corporate Governance
Description
Coordinate and supervise a team of Corporate Governance Officers in Porto (approx. 6-7 members).
Manage task allocation, priorities, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Act as the main point of contact between the local team and international stakeholders (Luxembourg, Ireland, and the United Kingdom).
Monitor team performance, workload, and efficiency, proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks.
Support team development through coaching, feedback, and structured growth plans.
Handle local HR-related matters, including holidays, attendance, and time tracking.
Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture with a strong focus on continuous improvement
Manage relationships with clients, boards, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Support the implementation of corporate governance best practices.
Organize and participate in Board, Shareholder, and Committee meetings.
Prepare and review minutes, resolutions, and corporate documentation.
Coordinate corporate transactions and company incorporations.
Ensure regulatory filings and maintenance of statutory records.
Deliver services in line with agreed SLAs and high-quality standards.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in corporate governance, corporate law, or financial services.
Experience in team supervision or leadership is a plus.
Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Interest in pursuing professional qualifications in Company Secretarial / Governance.
Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented profile.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including board members.
Strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset.
