You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of the Base of Operations (BOP) system, centralizing market activity data across asset classes for global financial institutions. Your main responsibilities: Analyze client needs critically, proposing proactive solutions to optimize data processing workflows Design, develop, and test scalable applications within the BOP ecosystem, ensuring minimal latency and high performance Maintain and enhance Oracle PL/SQL database procedures, scripts, and complex queries Develop features using C#/.NET Framework 4.5, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Angular 6 Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and on-call activities to ensure system stability Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in code reviews, version control, and CI/CD processes Contribute to Big Data projects, gaining exposure to Hadoop, Spark, and related tools Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders You're ideal for this role if you have: Minimum of 7 years of experience in SQL development, with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL Proven experience in C#/.NET frameworks, web development, and web services (WCF, Web API) Solid understanding of performance tuning and complex query design Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Experience with code versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD practices Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level) Knowledge of financial markets or domain-specific financial terminology is highly valued Eligibility for the role: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
