Job DescriptionAs Team Leader of the Market Data Hub, you will play a crucial leadership role in the Market Risk Framework Department, guiding the team responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of market data across various asset classes (equity, rates, credit and FX), performing quantitative daily controls, certification and feeding of FO systems with end of day Market Data. You will drive the strategic vision for the Market Data Hub and lead the team in utilizing our proprietary application, Market Data Manager (MDM), to support and keep connection with our international operations in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York. Essential duties and responsibilities As the leader of the Market Data Hub, you will: Lead the development and presentation of insights and strategic recommendations to internal committees, engaging with senior management to communicate key findings. Establish and implement robust control and certification processes, overseeing quantitative and qualitative assessments of market data sourced from external providers. Inspire and manage the Market Data Hub team in executing daily certification tasks, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and reliability. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (including CCA, Front Office, Econometrics, MRM, etc.)
to address their needs and provide timely, strategic support. Champion the maintenance and enhancement of a streamlined market data framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Supervisory responsibilities: Provide strong leadership to the Market Data Hub team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that promotes professional growth and development for all team members. Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, ensuring the team is equipped to meet evolving market demands. QualificationsAdvanced degree in finance, economics or a related field. Proven leadership experience in the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of market data and risk management practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, along with extensive experience in data manipulation and visualization. Strong knowledge of interest rate, credit, FX, equity, and commodity products and associated risk factors. A demonstrated passion for leadership and a desire to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative environment. Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL, and Java. Expertise in data APIs and market data systems. Familiarity with Natixis valuation systems (e.g., Summit, Polypaths, Sophis, Murex) is advantageous. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
