**Manufacturing Systems Engineer Role Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with MES systems and digital manufacturing environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Configure, maintain, and optimize MES software to support production operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop and maintain custom MES applications, scripts, and interfaces using C# and SQL.
* Collaborate with production teams, IT, and automation engineers to ensure MES aligns with operational requirements and data integrity standards.
* Troubleshoot MES-related issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
* Integrate MES with ERP, PLCs, and other manufacturing systems to ensure seamless data communication.
* Design and generate production performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs using SQL queries and custom scripts.
* Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to maintain compliance and efficiency.
* Document MES configurations, change management procedures, and system architecture.
* Provide training and technical support to production staff and engineers.
**Requirements:**
Our ideal candidate will possess:
* A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Experience working with MES systems and digital manufacturing environments.
* Hands-on experience with C# programming for manufacturing or industrial applications.
* Strong command of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
* Knowledge of shop floor processes, production workflows, and industrial automation systems.
* Familiarity with data integration between MES, ERP, and PLC systems.
* Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
* Basic understanding of PLC communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.) is a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
