About the Role (Job Purpose)
We're looking for an Engineer that has exceptional people, leadership & technical skills.
* You're comfortable problem solving & making decisions on complex topics with high levels of ambiguity in a results driven environment.
* You're comfortable influencing without authority and exceptional at building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to get things done.
* You have the understanding and skillset to grasp technical concepts and problems quickly

* You're a self starter, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly
What You'll be Doing (Responsibilities)
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex data centre systems.
* Lead large-scale infrastructure projects and evaluate emerging technologies.
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in high priority technical customer service scenarios.
* Define operational standards, policies, and best practices.
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in high-stakes technical scenarios and incidents.
* Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the operations team.
* Conduct performance reviews and assist in strategic planning for future infrastructure needs.
* Engage directly with customers on key projects, escalations or service delivery improvements.
* Travel to additional DCs to manage deployments, assess operations and ensure alignment with Organisational objectives
About You (Skills / Qualifications Experience)
* Deep knowledge of data centre architecture, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery planning.
* Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis expertise.
* Proven leadership and project management skills.
* 6+ years of experience with a focus on infrastructure design and management.
* Higher-level Advanced certification
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to large scale Data Centre environments
* Hands-on GPU server experience at a tech org
* A strong customer service ethic
