OverviewTilray Brands, Inc. is a global lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company. The Engineer Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that Tilray's equipment and systems are designed, installed, commissioned, and placed into operation in accordance with industry best practices, applicable standards, and business requirements. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards, while providing technical support across all functional areas related to utilities, support systems, and equipment. The role supports the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of relevant KPI and ESG monitoring dashboards to support performance management, data‐driven decision‐making, and sustainability objectives.
ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of engineering projects, from initial assessment through implementation, ensuring that all applicable requirements are properly defined, addressed, and delivered.
Conduct risk assessment activities related to projects and equipment, ensuring identification, evaluation, and mitigation of potential operational risks.
Participate in regular alignment meetings with the Industrial Engineering Manager and relevant stakeholders to review compliance‐related matters, monitor timelines, and evaluate project and operational progress.
Qualifications and EducationDegree in Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, industrial systems, or a similar environment.
Ability to take ownership of initiatives and coordinate activities effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgment and accountability.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Commitment to high professional standards, quality, and accuracy in work output.
Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
