We are looking for an Data Engineer!
Responsibilities:
* Architect and implement real-time and batch data pipelines to process trade documents, financial transactions, and shipment events.
* Develop scalable data models to support trade finance analytics, credit exposure tracking, payment workflows, and logistics performance.
* Integrate data from diverse systems including ERPs, banking platforms, shipping networks, and customs data sources using Kafka and APIs.
* Optimize distributed data processing with Apache Spark and Flink to enable accurate and timely trade data insights.
* Build interactive dashboards and operational analytics using Apache Superset for finance, compliance, and logistics stakeholders.
* Implement data governance, quality checks, and lineage tracking across the data architecture.
* Collaborate with finance, risk, operations, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements:
* 4+ years in data engineering or data architecture roles, ideally within finance, trade, or logistics domains.
* Strong hands-on experience with:
o Apache Spark (batch processing);
o Apache Flink (streaming);
o Apache Kafka (event streaming and data integration);
o Python (ETL scripting, data processing);
o SQL (for modelling and querying structured data);
* Experience building data visualizations and dashboards using Apache Superset or similar BI tools.
* Proficiency in designing relational and analytical data models for financial and operational reporting.
* Familiarity with trade finance platforms, ERPs, or logistics tracking systems.
* Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Proficiency in English.
