We are seeking an experienced Head of Supply Services.
Our client is a multinational company expanding its Shared Service Centre.
Description
Lead a key function within a dynamic shared services environment, overseeing end-to-end operational activities related to supply management across European markets;
Manage critical processes such as purchasing support, supplier data maintenance, contract administration, and operational planning support;
Ensure high-quality service delivery by driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all operations;
Play an active role in the evolution of a centralized operating model, supporting the transition of activities from local teams into a global services structure;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Operations) to ensure alignment and seamless execution of services;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process simplification, standardization, and automation;
Define and implement governance frameworks, including performance tracking, escalation paths, and risk management;
Monitor KPIs and service levels, ensuring consistent performance and identifying opportunities for optimization;
Lead transformation activities, ensuring smooth migration of processes with minimal impact on the business;
Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement;
Contribute to broader strategic initiatives, supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Profile
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field;
Extensive experience (10+ years) in supply chain, procurement, or operations roles;
Proven background within shared services or global business services environments;
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply and procurement processes, including purchasing cycles, supplier lifecycle, and contract management;
Experience working with relevant systems and tools in supply chain/procurement environments;
Data-driven mindset, with experience managing performance through KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards;
Good knowledge of governance, compliance frameworks, and internal controls;
Experience in transformation initiatives, such as process migration, centralization, or standardization projects;
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop diverse teams;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels and geographies;
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach;
Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced, and matrixed environments;
Continuous improvement mindset; exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
