We are looking for an
Application Support Engineer
to handle Tier 2/3 support for the ESG platform, support observability POCs (Grafana stack on OpenShift), and collaborate with the ITSM monitoring team.
What you would do:
* Provide Tier 2/3 support for the ESG application, including troubleshooting and deployments across environments (CER, QLY, PRD);
* Automate tasks and deployments using GitLab, Ansible, and participate in weekly release reviews;
* Support the observability POC (Grafana Mimir, Loki, Alloy) on OpenShift using Helm and GitLab CI;
* Contribute to the migration of Grafana Central to OpenShift and suggest improvements in IaC (Terraform, Ansible);
* Collaborate with the ITSM team using tools like OBM, SiteScope, Prometheus, and Python scripts for automation;
* Coordinate with developers, QA, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure platform stability.
What you need to bring:
* Solid experience in
application or platform support
(Tier 2/3);
* Experience with
Git (GitLab)
and
Ansible
for deployment and automation;
* Familiarity with
IBM Cloud
or hybrid cloud environments;
* Strong hands-on experience with
OpenShift
or
Kubernetes;
* Understanding of
Grafana stack
(Mimir, Loki, Alloy) and monitoring tools;
* Proficiency in Linux environments;
* Good scripting ability with
Python;
* Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(GitLab CI) and
Helm;
* Basic knowledge of
Terraform
and infrastructure configuration;
* Excellent communication skills in
English
(written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to
ITIL
processes;
* Experience with monitoring platforms (OBM, OO, SiteScope);
* Basic understanding of networking concepts;
* Knowledge of
Windows

AIX
, and
multi-platform environments;
* Familiarity with
InfluxDB

Apache Airflow.
