As a Field Service Specialist, you will deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize mission-critical IoT systems operating inside hospitals and healthcare facilities — where reliability, precision, and fast problem-solving are essential. This is a hands-on, field-based engineering role with real impact on system performance and patient safety.What You'll Do Deploy and commission IoT-based monitoring systems in healthcare environments Diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and system-level issues in real-world conditions Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance across multiple installations Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with full technical ownership Interface with internal engineering teams to troubleshoot and escalate complex issues Analyze field data and contribute to continuous system and process improvements Document configurations, interventions, and technical findings accurately Travel to customer sites across Portugal and internationallyWhat You Bring 2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware systems, field engineering, or technical support roles Background in electronics, IT, telecommunications, or similar Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset Ability to work autonomously in field environments Comfortable working in high-responsibility, real-world environments Fluent in Portuguese and English Driving license and availability for frequent travelBonus Points Experience with IoT systems or real-time monitoring platforms Networking knowledge (configuration, diagnostics, troubleshooting) Experience in healthcare or regulated environments Familiarity with tools like Podio or ConfluenceWhy ViGIE?
