Backend Developer Job Opportunity
Asenium is currently seeking a talented Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, Java, or Python to join our team on a remote basis.
Based in Portugal, this role requires strong knowledge of backend development and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions.
* Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing systems.
* Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
* Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely solutions.
* Follow best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.
Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development. Proven expertise in at least one of the following: Node.js, Java, or Python. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Portuguese is an asset.
