Job Description
The Role of the Maintenance Engineer is to oversee and manage maintenance activities across various departments. This involves coordinating, planning, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment availability.
This role requires a high level of dynamism, resilience, and autonomy in handling challenges and making strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and promoting process efficiency and workplace safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team, providing technical support, and developing their skills. They will also be expected to conduct training and capacity-building for the team to promote continuous improvement and alignment with safety standards.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for process improvement. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including failure reports, repairs performed, and improvements implemented.
Skill Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 8 years of experience in leading maintenance teams, preferably in the automotive industry
* Solid knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
* Competence in managing resources and budgets
* Strong problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills
