Test Coordinator – Financial Systems / Payments Platforms Portugal (Remote ) International team – English working languageWe're looking for a (Senior) Test Coordinator based in Portugal to lead and structure testing activities across systems in the financial and payments space.This role is primarily coordination-focused, requiring strong stakeholder management, communication, and ownership of testing processes across releases.
This is not a pure technical QA or automation role - the focus is on driving testing across teams, ensuring alignment, and enabling business and IT stakeholders to work effectively together.You'll help organize testing, coordinate with business users and developers, maintain test cases in Azure DevOps, and execute tests when needed.
The work is quite collaborative, so we're looking for someone who is structured, communicative, and comfortable working with stakeholders across business and IT.What you'll be doingOwning and coordinating end-to-end testing activities across releasesDriving UAT processes with business stakeholders and ensuring active participationActing as the central point of contact between business, IT, and QA teamsStructuring and organizing test plans, cycles, and deliverablesFacilitating communication across stakeholders and resolving blockersTracking defects and ensuring follow-up and accountabilitySupporting test execution when needed, but with a focus on coordinationEnsuring transparency through clear reporting and communication of testing status What we are looking forProven experience in test coordination or test management rolesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working with business users in UAT environmentsAbility to structure testing processes and drive alignment across teamsConfident communicator, able to lead discussions and handle challenging situationsExperience in financial systems, payment platforms, or similar environmentsHands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar toolsFluent EnglishBased in PortugalNice to haveExperience with payments or treasury platformsKnowledge of financial messaging formatsISTQB certificationExperience working in Agile environmentsThis role is best suited for candidates who enjoy coordination, communication, and driving testing activities across teams.
It is less suited for candidates focused primarily on test automation or highly technical QA engineering roles.
