This strategy aims to bring our engineers together from across the globe to create a catalogue of reusable services and engineering capabilities.
As a part of the Cloud Engineering team, your responsibility will be to coach and lead in provisioning, maintaining, and running the global cloud infrastructure that supports this catalogue, ensuring that it is highly-performant, self-serving and fault-tolerant.
Your fine-tuned experience of coding and algorithms will allow you to innovate effectively, lead the implementation of superior process automation and enable sustainable scalability.
Your proven experience of IaC and CI/CD enforcements will also play a role in your delivery of innovation, as it will enable you to easily identify and consult on the need for change to improve reliability, velocity and ultimately drive optimal environmental stability.
You will have in-depth cloud development experience, knowing how to build, design and scale, high-performing cloud infrastructure systems via IaC You will have experience driving platform engineering practises for Kubernetes workloads You will use your deep knowledge and experience of observability tools and service level objectives to monitor cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability You will have proficient knowledge on scripting in any of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, React,, JavaScript, Clojure, Java, Scala, Go or C You will have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders You will have a proactive and systematic attitude to problem-solving: looking to find areas of improvement and performance bottlenecks You will have working knowledge of CI/CD implementation and agile DevOps methods
