Lead a team of IT professionals in the development and implementation of a strategic vision for technology use across the school.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of current research findings and forecasts related to technology in education, and providing guidance on academic and administrative technology matters. They will also oversee professional development opportunities for staff on integrating technology into the curriculum, and ensure that educators and students have access to the necessary tools and resources.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a strategic vision for technology use across the school
* Maintaining knowledge of current research findings and forecasts related to technology in education
* Providing guidance on academic and administrative technology matters
* Overseeing professional development opportunities for staff
* Ensuring educators and students have access to necessary tools and resources
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Hands-on experience with wired and wireless infrastructure (HP Aruba, Cisco Meraki preferred)
* Experience with Windows server operating system and Domain Controllers
* Knowledge of security practices including firewall and content filtering
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, and Firewalls
* Experience managing IP-PABX and Virtual environment and Backup (VMware preferred, Hyper-V)
* Experience with Education Platform O365, Google G-Suite, Apple for education
* Experience with mobile devices management (MDM)
A Bachelor's degree in Computer or Technology Field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and 5 years of experience in technology in general. English proficiency is essential.
