Job Overview
The position of Mid-Level Designer involves collaboration with a Junior/Mid-Level designer and a freelance front-end developer to achieve cohesive design goals.
Main Responsibilities
* Create high-quality marketing visuals for various channels while adhering to brand guidelines.
* Produce assets for product marketing, demand generation, and sales enablement efforts.
* Design and update landing pages, visuals, and Figma components as part of ongoing web improvements.
* Prepare clear, web-ready designs for development.
* Work closely with the freelance front-end developer to ensure page-building accuracy.
* Conduct basic checks of HubSpot page builds for visual consistency and report issues when necessary.
* Contribute to tasks related to the ongoing website redesign project.
* Collaborate frequently with other designers to balance workloads and ensure smooth delivery.
* Provide peer-level feedback and collaborate on shared tasks to maintain quality and consistency.
* Communicate progress, blockers, and needs directly to stakeholders for alignment and prioritization.
* Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Content, Events, and Product Marketing teams to support campaign asset needs.
* Ensure deliverables align with marketing goals such as performance optimization, trial acquisition, and website enhancements.
* Produce simple video edits (cutdowns, subtitles, light adjustments).
* Motion design skills and tools are beneficial.
* Prepare briefs and assets for a freelance motion designer when advanced animation is required.
* Support review cycles and ensure timely delivery of motion assets.
* Utilize and update the marketing design system in Figma under guidance from existing system rules.
* Apply reusable components, templates, and best practices to maintain consistency.
* Produce and update templates for team use.
Design production and visibility rely on ClickUp for: Maintaining task organization in ClickUp: updating statuses, deadlines, and priorities to ensure clarity and visibility. Managing incoming requests. Tracking deadlines. Coordinating cross-team dependencies. Allocating tasks between design and development. The Mid-Level designer will follow established processes to ensure workflow stability and prevent operational gaps.
