Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required
- A Master's degree at a nationally recognised certified University in a related discipline with 5 years post related experience.
Or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years post related experience.
- A recognised project management qualification (such as Prince2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Project Management techniques based upon PMI Knowledge area or Agile, and recent extensive experience (at least eight years) in the Project Management of major communication and/or command and control/management information system for a large organisation.
The lack of formal project qualification may be compensated by the demonstration of expertise in the domain.
- Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex communication and information systems.
Desirable
- Extensive experience with project planning toolsets, preferably Service Now.
- A recognised Service Management qualification (such as ITIL Foundation, ITIL specialist courses).
- Experience in private and/or public cloud infrastructure deployment, user and application migration projects (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and transition of projects to services and operations.
Duties/role
- Managing and motivating project team(s) through clear guidance and assignment of work.
- Applying standard project management techniques in accordance with the Prince2 methodology (e.G., change control, risk/issue management).
- Developing and maintaining project plans in ServiceNow and in compliance with NCIA Directives and project management best practices.
