Are you a skilled Mechanical professional looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge Data Centre project? Our client, a leading international construction company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join the team in Portugal. This is a fantastic chance to be a part of a groundbreaking project for a major Data Centre provider.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Mechanical Project Managers/Engineers
* Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
* Display commercial astuteness
* Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
* Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
* Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
* Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
* Oversee highest quality of health and safety
Requirements
* Bachelors' degree in Engineering or relevant area
* Strong knowledge of procurement
* Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
* Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
* Experience in the delivery in Data Center MEP projects
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
