What will you do?
* Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java;
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand and refine business requirements;
* Translate requirements into clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
* Produce technical documentation, flowcharts, and solution layouts;
* Implement unit, component, and integration tests in coordination with the QA team;
* Deploy and monitor applications using modern CI / CD tools and practices;
* Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and mentor junior team members.
What do you need?
* 10+ years of experience in Java backend development;
* Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud providers;
* Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (offsets, brokers, partitions, consumer groups);
* Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog;
* Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
* Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL), including indexing, optimization, and ACID principles;
* Familiarity with NoSQL databases and understanding of the differences from SQL;
* Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector is a strong advantage;
* Solid grasp of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns;
* Experience working with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms;
* Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications;
* Background in large-scale enterprise distributed systems;
* Fluency in English is mandatory.
