We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components that power our innovative technologies.
As a Material Planner, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and convert requisitions into purchase orders, manage scheduling agreements, create kanban call orders, and monitor deliveries through deadlines and carrier loading schedules.
Additionally, you will negotiate with suppliers regarding order changes to support production needs, address supplier non-compliance on delivery dates, quantities, or quality, and maintain purchasing process documentation.
* Analyze and convert requisitions into purchase orders in SAP.
* Manage and update scheduling agreements (LPA) and standard purchase orders (NB).
* Create and send kanban call orders to suppliers.
* Receive and process purchase order confirmations in SAP.
* Monitor deliveries through deadlines, carrier loading schedules, and shortage reports.
* Negotiate with suppliers regarding order changes (advancements, postponements, or cancellations) to support production needs.
* Address supplier non-compliance on delivery dates, quantities, or quality.
* Maintain and update purchasing process documentation.
What You Bring to the Table
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Academic background in Engineering, Management, Logistics, or equivalent.
* 2–4 years of experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain (manufacturing/industrial background is a plus).
* Solid knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain principles.
* Hands-on experience with SAP (MM/PP modules) or similar ERP systems.
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
