Are you ready to take on a challenging role in our financial department? Our Fixed Assets Specialist position is now open, and we invite talented professionals to join our team.
As a Fixed Assets Specialist, you will play a crucial part in creating and maintaining capital investments projects and their budgets. You will be responsible for maintaining the fixed asset system for accounting, processing, and reporting of assets. Your tasks will include recording fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system, tracking the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and closing out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
Additionally, you will generate monthly depreciation postings, review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. You will also support the transfer of AUC balances to the Fixed Assets sub-ledger through close coordination with local business, monitor and report monthly capital expenditure to managers, produce monthly and annual Fixed Assets account reports to the business, and conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management/business.
Key responsibilities include performing quarterly account reconciliations on Blackline to ensure accuracy and compliance of reported Fixed Asset balances, assisting in financial audit (internal/external) and tax filing activities, managing internal queries, regular control of work output quality, and updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
Our ideal candidate has an accountancy qualification and strong command of verbal and written English. They must be pro-active, responsive, and action-orientated, with good organisational skills, collaboration, accountability, integrity, and ethical values. They should also possess strong Team Work skills, ability to adapt to changes, and to always strive for quality and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have technical proficiency with SAP and MS Office, customer focus mindset, and ability to work in an international global work environment. They must also be able to work under pressure and deal with multiple tasks in parallel.
