What you'll do
Set the direction – Shape and lead a company-wide data strategy that supports growth, efficiency and customer experience.
Connect the dots – Work with commercial, supply-chain, finance and tech teams to understand their goals, surface data gaps and spot high-value opportunities.
Build the roadmap – Prioritise initiatives, create a clear pipeline and secure sponsorship for the projects that will deliver the biggest impact.
Cut through the noise – Explain complex data issues in plain English and champion pragmatic solutions that colleagues can actually use.
Raise the bar – Agree principles for data quality, governance and tooling, and help embed them across the organisation.
What you'll bring
A track record of shaping data, transformation or planning programmes in a large, complex business.
First-hand experience partnering with IT, finance and multiple business units to drive change.
Sound grasp of common enterprise data challenges (access, quality, adoption) and the ability to turn them into actionable plans.
Credibility with senior stakeholders and the confidence to operate as a "team of one" while the function scales.
Sharp analytical thinking, clear communication and a talent for building strong relationships.
