We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insights Center team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Lisbon.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.The Insights Center supports the UK and Europe Finance teams.
This role will be mainly focused on supporting either continental European teams or the UK's FP&A activity.We will count on you to:Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations;Review and conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, and make recommendations for changes to management;Conduct basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements;Maintain best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards;Communicate with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management;Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year;Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns;Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives;Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends;Improve financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.What you need to have:3-6 years of relevant business experience;Fluent English level (C1/C2);Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Attention to detail;Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment;Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel (manipulate big data) and PowerPoint;Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation;Comfortable presenting to regional team members, able to appropriately challenge the team;Proven track record of delivering to deadlines;Active team player with the ability to work across geographies;Be open for new challenges and willing to undertake additional responsibilities.What makes you stand out?
