We are recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Engineering & Platform Services area of a leading company in the automotive technology sector.
You will help design and evolve backend and platform services powering an AIdriven automotive platform, working in a cloudnative and distributed environment alongside crossfunctional teams.

Direct contract with the client
What you will do
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for AIenabled features
Work with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems
Implement reliable, scalable, and secure data and service integrations
Collaborate with AI/ML teams on model integration and inference workflows
Work with SQL and relational databases
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture alignment
Support observability, performance tuning, and operational stability
Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes
Collaborate with teams across AI/ML, Android, QA, DevOps, and Product
What were looking for
5 years of software development experience
Strong backend skills in Python, C#, or Kotlin
Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
Proven experience building production APIs and backend services
Good understanding of distributed systems and serviceoriented architectures
Fullstack awareness with a backend focus
Interest in AI/ML concepts
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Experience with dataintensive or AIenabled systems
Familiarity with eventdriven architectures or messaging systems
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
Background in automotive, embedded, or platform environments (nice to have)
Fluency in English
