Key Responsibilities
As a School Drama Teacher at United Lisbon International School, you will have the exciting opportunity to instill a love for drama and the performing arts in our students. Your role will be pivotal in helping students develop essential.
* Create age-appropriate lesson plans incorporating drama techniques, storytelling, improvisation, and performance skills.
* Maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment encourages active participation and respectful behaviour.
* Teach students various drama skills, including voice projection, body language, character development, and stage presence.
* Organise and direct school plays, dramas, and performances, involving students in all aspects of production, including acting, set design, and costumes.
* Assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track their development.
* Establish open and regular communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and involve them in school drama events.
* Stay current with developments in drama education, attend workshops or training sessions, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
