Your mission will be...
As a
Manufacturing Automation & Digitalization Engineer
, you will play a key role in driving the transformation of our global factories and support processes into fully digitalized, data-driven operations.
Beyond defining concepts, you will be expected to be hands-on and able to implement digital solutions end-to-end: from prototyping and building automations to integrating systems and deploying scalable workflows (including low-code solutions, Power Automate, scripting, and emerging agentic AI capabilities).
You will design and implement automation solutions, optimize end-to-end processes within Supply Chain Management, and lead digitalization initiatives that boost operational efficiency and enable smart manufacturing.
What You Will Do:
Develop Digitalization & Automation Roadmaps
: Define factory automation & digitalization roadmap aligned with business goals.
Empower, Build & Support
the implementation of the Digitalization Roadmap by translating ideas into working solutions.
Process Optimization & Digitalization
: Analyse and digitalize key SCM processes (planning, order management, assembly, testing, logistics) by building workflows, automations, and integrations (e.g., low-code apps, Power Automate flows, scripts, and APIs) to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance performance tracking.
Assess Maturity & Gaps
: Conduct digital maturity assessments, identify improvement levers, and propose solutions.
Project Management
: Lead and coordinate automation and digitalization projects from concept to implementation, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate Globally
: Work with manufacturing, logistics, planning, finance, warehouse, and suppliers to deliver seamless solutions.
Technology Deployment
: Keep up to date with industry trends in digital manufacturing and automation excellence and implement best practices across global production sites.
We are looking for someone with...
Education
: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
:
+3 years of proven experience driving industrial automation and digitalization initiatives in manufacturing environments, from concept through implementation and continuous improvement.
Experience with Lean methodologies, and process optimization.
Skills
:
Programming capability (required)
: Ability to write and maintain code to implement digital solutions.
Low-code automation
: Ability to design, build, and operate workflows using low-code tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps Platform / Power Automate), including connectors, approvals, notifications, and error handling.
Integrations
: Experience integrating systems and data sources translating business needs into reliable end-to-end flows.
Applied AI / agentic automation (nice to have)
: Interest or experience in using AI-assisted tools/agentic workflows to orchestrate tasks, generate insights, and support decision-making—always with appropriate governance and security.
Strong analytical and structured way of working with a proactive,
builder/implementer mindset
.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively in international teams.
Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally.
Passion for innovation, technology, and driving transformation in industrial environments.
