Job Title: Series Productivity Buyer
Overview: As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in improving supplier performance across multiple plants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement productivity actions to reduce costs and improve quality.
* Monitor productivity performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement.
* Work closely with commodity buyers to achieve purchasing goals.
* Support the supply chain team to enhance supplier delivery performance.
* Participate in program kickoffs and lead transfers meetings to ensure seamless production start-ups.
* Negotiate engineering change requests and product productivity enhancements.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business.
* Specialization in international purchasing or supply chain management is preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, production, quality, or sales.
* Automotive industry experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
* Knowledge of productivity/lean management methodologies.
* Production, quality, and logistics expertise.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a matrix organization.
* English fluency.
