Global Category Manager - Indirect procurement

You will maximize value for the Ferring Group by providing efficient procurement solutions and deals, leveraging economies of scale, optimizing demand and processes, and capturing suppliers’ innovation.
Main categories in scope include: Consulting Services, HR services, Financial Services, Legal Services, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.
Your day at Ferring
Category Management
* Develop and implement procurement strategies for categories such as Consulting, HR, Financial, Legal, and BPO to optimize cost savings and supplier performance.
* Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for improvement.
Supplier Relationship Management
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal service levels and performance.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.
Sourcing and Procurement
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and onboarding suppliers.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Risk Management
* Identify and assess procurement-related risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Cost Management
* Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to meet financial targets and maximize value.
* Analyze spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Contract Administration
* Draft, review, and manage contracts for services across categories.
* Monitor contract compliance and address issues promptly.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in procurement or business administration.
* At least 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing for the specified categories.
* Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong project and change management skills.
* Understanding of Indirect Procurement spend.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
* Fluency in English.
