Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer specialized in Laravel to join our development team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable backend systems, APIs, and databases that power our products and services.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend applications using Laravel
* Design and implement RESTful APIs
* Optimize application performance and database queries
* Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Implement security and data protection best practices
* Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
* Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems
Requirements
* Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
* Solid understanding of MVC architecture
* Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL or other relational databases
* Knowledge of API authentication (JWT, OAuth, Sanctum, etc.)
* Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
* Understanding of server environments (Linux, Nginx/Apache)
* Experience with testing (PHPUnit or similar) is a plus
