We are seeking an experienced piping inspector to join our team. As a piping inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our fabrication workshop.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting thorough visual inspections of piping components and spools during fabrication.
* Verifying compliance with technical specifications, isometric drawings, and applicable industry standards.
* SUPERVISING AND VALIDATING NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (VT, RT, UT, PT, MT) on piping elements.
* Reviewing and managing quality documentation: WPS/PQR, material traceability, and welder certifications.
* Issuing inspection reports and managing non-conformities (NCRs).
* Participating in quality meetings with production teams and clients, ensuring compliance with project standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all piping components meet the required standards, and that any deviations or defects are identified and addressed promptly.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
* Proven experience as a quality inspector in piping fabrication projects.
* Strong knowledge of isometric drawings, P&IDs, material specifications, and welding standards.
* NDT certifications (ideally VT + RT/UT).
* Minimum B2 level in English or Portuguese.
