An Events Specialist Executive will be responsible for promoting, selling, planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, engaging stakeholders, and achieving business objectives. This role requires proactive sales, creativity, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to event management.
What will I be doing?
As Events Specialist Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of events by promoting, selling, planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, engaging stakeholders, and achieving business objectives. Specifically, an Events Specialist Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Contribution to the optimal commercial success, mainly focused on Courtyard and Novo Mundo in combination with other aspects of the hotel in both reactive (50%) and proactive selling (50%)
* Create and implement effective sales plans and strategies aligned with company goals
* Identify new market opportunities and customer segments
* Actively seek opportunities for lead generation
* Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize Food & Drinks opportunities
* Coordinate all event logistics, including vendor negotiations, contracts, catering, equipment rentals, and on-site event setup
* Manage event promotions, including digital campaigns, email invites, and printed materials
* Build strong relationships with clients/agents to fully understand needs to generate leads
* Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities
* Ensure the correct appearance and representation of the hotel in a professional manner towards customers and negotiating partners
* Ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of guests and customers by providing them with the best service, taking into account the established service standards

* Demonstrated previous experience working in Event Planning or Sales function (2–4 years)
* Knowledge of hotel property management systems
