Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
* Integrate Customer Demand: Ensure accurate and timely incorporation of customer requirements into planning processes.
* Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
* Forecast Analysis: Evaluate long-term customer forecasts, identify inconsistencies, and initiate corrective actions.
* Inventory Management: Monitor finished goods inventory, balancing inflows and outflows, especially during new program launches or customer downtime/shutdowns.
* Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily customer interactions, ensuring clear and responsive communication.
* Critical Delivery Management: Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to resolve urgent delivery issues and ensure timely follow-up.
* Shipment Coordination: Oversee daily shipments to meet customer delivery schedules and expectations.
* Customer Satisfaction Monitoring: Track and improve supplier delivery performance metrics to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Data Integrity Assurance: Maintain accurate records and data for finished goods inventory and planning systems.
* Obsolescence Prevention: Proactively manage end-of-production transitions to avoid obsolete inventory.
* Audit Support: Assist in customer audits by providing relevant documentation and operational insights.
* Project Participation: Contribute to cross-functional project meetings, offering planning and customer service perspectives.
