YOUR TASKS
* Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers.
* Coordinate all supplier-related activities throughout the value chain.
* Develop global sourcing commodity strategy and ensure implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Support, interface and coordination with regional local sourcing teams.
* Global management of the commodity in collaboration with local teams.
* Close collaboration with the Service department to guarantee the best understanding of business needs and objectives.
* Drive price and capacity negotiation process to ensure that Nordex prices are best in class.
* Lead the negotiations of Framework Agreements.
* Ensuring that purchasing procedures are followed in the region, reporting to the corporate function and KPIs achievement at supplier level.
* Participate in internal Workstreams (cost out programs, localization initiatives etc.).
YOUR PROFILE
* Business and/or Engineering degree.
* First professional experience in purchasing in the wind industry desirable. Experience in sourcing O&M services is welcome.
* Keen on working in an international environment and facing new challenges.
* Strategic thinking and negotiating skills as well as cost and quality awareness
* Responsible, service-oriented, team player, goal-oriented, good communication skills, proactiveness and independent way of working.
* High degree of reliability and ability to work in a team.
* Good MS Office skills and SAP skills.
* Availability to travel.
* Business fluent in English - we're not expecting Shakespeare, but you should feel comfortable speaking in interviews and daily meetings with international colleagues
