Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Development Representative. As an SDR, you will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development. This role is mostly remote.
Qualifications
* Experience in inside sales, lead generation, and business development
* Strong communication and sales skills
* Ability to work independently and remotely
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of the knowledge workers' productivity suite is a plus
* Experience in the tech industry is beneficial
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Responsibilities
* Identify and research target companies and decision-makers
* Build and maintain a pipeline of potential leads
* Use outbound tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn, HubSpot) to generate interest
* Respond promptly to inbound leads from marketing channels
* Craft and send personalized cold emails and LinkedIn messages
* Conduct cold calls to engage prospects directly
* Run multi-touch outreach sequences to maximize contact chances
* Adjust messaging based on industry and role
* Initiate discovery conversations to assess fit and interest
* Ask the right questions to identify pain points and buying intent
* Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline)
* Disqualify leads that don't meet criteria to focus on high-value prospects
* Schedule discovery or demo calls for Account Executives or Sales Managers
* Follow-up to confirm attendance and maintain engagement
* Log all interactions and updates in the CRM - HubSpot
* Track lead stages, notes, and next steps meticulously
* Monitor and report on outreach performance (email open rates, call connects, etc.)
* Maintain high accuracy in pipeline tracking and reporting
* Sync with Marketing to optimize messaging and lead sources
* Share prospect feedback with Product or Growth teams
* Participate in weekly sales team stand-ups and training sessions
* Continuously improve based on coaching and performance data
