As a seasoned sales leader, you will drive business growth and expansion in the Portuguese market. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic plans, develop effective commercial strategies, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage P&L of NIM Portugal Business plan
* Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand our presence in the Portuguese market
* Design and implement tailored action plans across different regions and healthcare sectors
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust strategy accordingly
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* 10 to 15 years of experience in business development or sales within life sciences or healthcare. Experience in genetics or medical devices is a strong plus
* Deep understanding of the Portuguese healthcare system, including procurement processes in public and private sectors
* Background in genetics, medical science, or biology is advantageous (e.g., MD, biologist, or similar)
* Demonstrated success in fast-growing environments with a high degree of autonomy
* Native Portuguese speaker with fluent English; Spanish is a plus
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and presenting at events
