About the role
The Global Product Lead – Services Procurement plays a lead role in developing and implementing Pontoon’s global Services Procurement strategy, ensuring we have the right product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market approach to increase our footprint within Services Procurement.
Collaborating with global teams across the Pontoon organization, the Global Product Lead – Services Procurement ensures relationships with all stakeholder groups are continually developed and strengthened, directly impacting Pontoon’s growth.
What you’ll be doing
* Develop, communicate, implement, and execute the Services Procurement strategy to grow the business.
* Define our go-to-market strategy for new and existing clients.
* Create and maintain a Services Procurement Target Operating Model (TOM), operational standards, SLAs, KPIs, and optimized product features.
* Foster an environment of best practice sharing across Pontoon.
* Stay updated with industry trends and changes, demonstrating subject matter expertise.
* Facilitate product reviews to gather and build client and product case studies.
* Engage directly with customers and prospects during the sales process, including RFI/RFP input.
* Secure thought leadership opportunities through speaking engagements and publications.
* Determine the resources needed for developing a successful Services Procurement function.
* Review and improve existing Services Procurement approaches, collateral, and solutions.
* Support market-leading insights on Services Procurement via social media, industry events, and analysts.
* Assist Solution Design and Pricing teams in developing service pricing models.
* Advise on the Services Procurement technology landscape, partnering with top vendors.
* Cultivate the Services Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE) to support customers and prospects.
* Continuously develop strategies and organizational improvements for increased efficiency.
* Lead or participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
About you
Education & Job Requirements:
* Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in MSP or transferable Procurement roles.
* At least two (2) years in project or initiative management.
* MSP experience preferred but not required.
* Experience in negotiations and performance management.
* Six Sigma, Lean, or Green Belt certification preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to build proactive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience in defining and refining a Services Procurement strategy.
* Strong executive presence with excellent presentation skills.
* Expertise in Services Procurement, preferably within MSP environments.

* Strong analytical skills, capable of building and presenting business cases.
* Experience presenting analytical results to non-technical audiences.
* Financial acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
