Your Role In Our Team
As an R&D Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing new products and solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conceptualize, design, and implement automation solutions to enhance our product portfolio and develop new offerings.
2. Integrate automation solutions with existing equipment and processes.
3. Develop and implement PLC and HMI programs for automated systems.
4. Troubleshoot and optimize PLC and HMI code for system performance.
5. Select sensors, actuators, and control devices for automation projects.
6. Ensure seamless communication and integration among system components.
7. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for successful implementation.
8. Work with vendors and partners to procure automation components.
9. Conduct testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
10. Validate solutions through performance analysis and optimization.
11. Prepare documentation including specifications, schematics, and manuals.
12. Maintain records of configurations and changes.
13. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
14. Incorporate new technological trends to enhance product performance.
15. Design solution architecture considering project specifications.
Your Profile
1. 3-6 years of experience in similar roles.
2. Degree in Electrotechnical or Automation Engineering; Master's is a plus.
3. Programming experience with Tia Portal Siemens preferred.
4. Proficient in PLC programming languages.
5. Experience with HMI programming and interface design.
6. Strong understanding of control systems and industrial automation technologies.
7. Familiarity with communication protocols used in automation.
8. Eplan experience is a plus.
9. Proficiency in MS Office.
10. Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations.
11. Fluent in English.
