The role
This role sits within the Financial Control team, who are responsible for the month-end close, preparation of financial accounts (to GL level), and play a key role in the delivery of audits.
Reporting into the Finance manager, you will be a part-qualified accountant with experience in delivering month-end activities such as accruals, prepayments, intercompany and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
What excites you
Preparing monthly journals such as accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and intercompany across all entities.
Collaborating with other teams, including AP, Tax and management reporting, ensuring smooth end-to-end financial processes.
Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed monthly and any variances are resolved on a timely basis
Assist with the annual audits in preparation and provide the requested documents
Provide cover for bank reconciliations
Supporting the Finance Manager / Group Financial Controller as required
Support ad hoc projects as and when required
What excites us
ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
2-3 years of accounting experience
Experience with month-end processes
Ability to prioritise time and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
Experience with multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations
Ability to produce accurate work and consistently deliver to reporting deadlines
Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting packages
Team player, but ability to work independently
Base salary range
: €25,600 - €38,400 (gross), (including 13th and 14th salary).
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.
Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the
minimum and the mid-point
(€25,600 - €32,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role.
Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
