* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Porto Service Center, promoting a high-performance and compliant culture;
* Build, lead, and develop a strong local management structure;
* Own workforce planning, including hiring, onboarding, and team structuring;
* Set leadership standards, drive engagement, and support continuous professional development;
* Ensure consistent service excellence aligned with the global operating model;
* Act as the primary liaison between the Porto site and group functions;
* Oversee local administrative, financial, and operational governance;
* Manage internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Portuguese regulations;
* Own end-to-end operational performance and KPI delivery;
* Translate performance insights into targeted improvement actions;
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory, internal control, and group policy requirements;
* Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and best-practice adoption;
* Contribute to strategic initiatives such as system implementations, transitions, and service expansions.
Profile
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
* 5+ years of senior-level experience in Operations, Business Management within regulated, SSC, or BPO environments;
* Strong understanding of financial instruments, fund structures (preferred);
* Proven exposure to BPO and back-/mid-office operations;
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change across systems, processes, and organizations;
* Strong people leadership with a focus on performance, engagement, and talent retention;
* Hands-on, results-driven mindset combined with strategic thinking;
* High resilience, strong prioritization skills, and execution focus in fast-paced environments;
* Pragmatic problem-solver with a solution-oriented approach;
* Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels;
* Strong relationship-building and influencing capabilities;
* Knowledge of fund accounting systems is an advantage (e.g., SimCorp Dimension);
* Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese, including negotiation skills.
