Job Opportunity: Operations Strategist
The Role
We seek a skilled professional to lead our operating system's design and implementation. This person will develop efficient processes with clear ownership, SLAs, and automated workflows.
* Design and launch one process at a time (starting with Customer Support)
* Identify inefficiencies and redesign the flow: fewer steps, clear owners & SLAs, standard work
* Measure progress and adjust strategies weekly: small dashboards, alerts, quick fixes
* Expand scope as targets are met: replenishment, returns, listings, supply chain, vendors—leading to running business reviews and full operation
This is a remote opportunity open to candidates across EMEA.
Responsibilities
* Map workflows, set KPIs, and implement improvements
* Develop durable systems and controls (clear SLAs/owners, dashboards & alerts, automated handoffs, audit cadence) and ensure documentation and training happen with the team
* Lead sprints, stand-ups, weekly reviews, retros, and Go / No-Go checkpoints
* Turn data into actionable insights
* Hire, onboard, and schedule new freelancers/collaborators
* Coordinate with stakeholders; negotiate and monitor SLAs
* Ensure Asana health—no broken systems, stranded tasks or forever-overdue
Requirements:
* Operations mindset: stability, efficiency, systems thinking
* Workflow design: turn chaos into clear steps; guide others in SOP creation
* Data literacy: formulas, charts, and data-driven decisions
* Change management: training, enforcing SLAs, preventing process decay
* Quality & compliance: spot risks and define rollback plans
* Tooling: Asana admin—custom fields, rules, cross-functional projects
Preferred Skills:
* Amazon Seller Central experience (FBA, account management)
* Basic P&L understanding (revenue, COGS, margin impact)
* Process-mapping tools (Miro, Lucid)
