Job Description:
We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Fermentation Operator to join our innovative biotech company, specializing in the development of carbohydrate-containing biomolecules.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate fermentation and associated pilot‑plant equipment according to approved SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
* Perform day‑to‑day pilot fermentation activities, including preparation, startup, sterilization, monitoring, and cleaning.
* Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., temperature, pH, DO, airflow, agitation, feed rate) and make operator‑level adjustments as instructed.
* Carry out routine sampling and basic in‑process measurements, ensuring samples are taken, and handled correctly.
* Perform basic maintenance checks on fermenters and auxiliary systems.
* Identify and report deviations, alarms, or equipment issues.
* Accurately document operational activities, batch records, and logbooks.
* Follow safety, HACCP, and quality guidelines.
Role Requirements:
* Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or similar;
* Hands-on experience with bioreactors (bench, pilot or production scale);
* Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills are essential.
