Mission
1. Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution;
2. Maintain optimal level of customer satisfaction;
3. Identify all customer issues and recommend appropriate resolution;
4. Providing 2nd-level support by: researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying solutions, carrying out configurations, performing upgrades, carrying out migrations;
5. Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
6. Write and maintain documentation.
Profile
7. Solid and extensive knowledge of IT data center infrastructure in general and navigate medium to large IT environments;
8. Experience with being responsible for the implementation of new databases and the operational management of existing databases;
9. Customer focused regarding the operations of the databases with focus on reliability and performance;
10. Able do handle the following tasks: Preparation of operational procedures for backup and recovery, tuning, integrity, reliability and administration of database users;
Provide support to the application people and assets in setting up the internal structure of the database;
Establish and follow up robust database standards.
11. Know how to work on Databases in the Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform;
12. Fluent in (technical) English (spoken & written)
