We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on Java, to work on the development and evolution of applications. Tasks Develop features based on functional and technical specifications Participate in the analysis, development, and maintenance of applications Develop or configure new modules and enhance existing systems Ensure code quality by following best practices and development standards Contribute to integration and deployment activities Collaborate with business, QA, and development teams Contribute to technical documentation Ensure compliance with defined guidelines and standards Requirements Solid experience with Java development Experience building backend applications Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) Experience with REST APIs Experience with version control (Git) Good understanding of software architecture principles Experience working in agile environments Nice to have Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot Knowledge of ORMs (Hibernate, JPA) Experience with system integrations Experience with CI/CD pipelines Work Model Hybrid: 2 days per week on-site in Porto At DBSPT you will find Collaborative Environment: We value a sense of community where ideas are shared, and achievements are celebrated as a team.
