THE JOB
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as an Backend/NetDevops Engineer (Python)
YOUR DAY TO DAY .
1. Build and own a daily sync pipeline: collect VRF (Virtual Routing & Forwarding) and other configurations from Cisco and Huawei network router
2. Validate, normalize, and publish to NetBox and OpenText SMAX/UCMDB
3. Sole programmer working closely with data-center network experts.
4. Design a canonical VRF schema and vendor mappings.
5. Implement collectors (SDN API first; fallback NETCONF/CLI) and a NetBox → UCMDB/SMAX Sync App.
6. Reconciliation, quarantine for deletes, selective federation to SMAX observability and documentation.
7. Deliver PoC → production, then handover with support docs.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
8. Higher education in Computer Engineering or similar field;
9. 5+ years software dev, incl. 3+ years Python integrations (REST, auth, pagination, retries).
10. Data modeling & reconciliation (idempotent upserts, keys, lifecycle: active/retired/quarantine).
11. Comfortable running daily jobs on a Linux VM (systemd/cron), with logs/metrics and runbooks.
