We connectproperty owners, real estate investors, tourists, and digital nomadsfrom all corners of the world.Lightning-fast Growth Start Up, we closed 2024 with promising numbers: Managing over +600 properties(apartments, houses and hostels)10 M€ annual revenue, 60 talented people and successfully spinning offInvest WiseandWork Wise.What you'll be doingReporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role bridges operational strategy and day-to-day execution, with a strong focuson Maintenanceand support to Property Implementations.This is a high-impact role for a hands-on yet strategic professional, with strong technical awareness, analytical thinkingand leadership skills, who thrives in a fast-paced and operationally complex environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the supervision and continuous improvement of our maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control and operational excellence across our property portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping maintenance strategy, optimizing processes and supporting the scalability of Host Wise's operations.Oversee Maintenance Operations, managing priorities, capacity planning and performance (costs and quality).- Provide technical and analytical oversight of maintenance activities, identifying recurring issues and defining corrective and preventive actions.- Improve operational efficiencythrough process optimization, preventive maintenance and continuous improvementinitiatives.- Control maintenance costs and budgets, including supplier management and cost-efficiency actions.- Support the Implementations Team by assisting the current managerin planning and coordinating new property onboardings.- Organize and prepare the invoicing process for maintenance services providedto property owners.Skills for the role3+ years of professional experience (operations, maintenance or facilities management is a plus).- Higher education degree(Civil Engineering is a plus).- Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.- Proven ability to optimize processes and manage costs, including budget control, supplier negotiation and performance tracking.- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.Ready to embark on a journey where your skills will be valued, and your ideas will shape the industry's future?Our BenefitsPremium Equipment: Laptop or i Mac with 60% company contribution for remote or hybrid work;- Health Insurance:100% covered to ensure your well-being;- Transportation:Monthly transportation pass fully paid for travel in Porto metropolitan area;- Well-being:Access to private gym and personal trainers classes;- Hybrid Work & Flexibility: Option for hybrid work with flexible hours.- A place where you can execute, innovate and grow— no bureaucracy, no unnecessary meetings.
