We seek to recruit for our site in Famalicão, Portugal:Controller and Accounting Technician (m/f) ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial reports, KPIs, and manufacturing statistics for local management and the Vishay Group (monthly, quarterly and annually);Ensure the monthly report on financial performance and production statistics;Prepare and monitor the annual budget, forecasts, and planning cycles;Analyse monthly budget variances and provide clear analysis and justification;Monitor cost-reduction initiatives;Prepare and maintain standard product costs;Control inventory, including valuation, movements, and obsolescence analysis, ensuring compliance with corporate policies;Support internal and external audits;Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting transactions in SAP;Validate bank payments and record cash flow transactions;Maintenance of fixed asset records;Accounting and analysis of personnel costs;Ensure compliance with internal policies, including inventory obsolescence and asset management;Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of financial procedures and internal controls;Collaborate in initiatives related to energy management and sustainability reporting, where applicable.RequirementsDegree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field;Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment;Good knowledge of accounting and management control principles, both local and US Gaap/IFRS;Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel;Experience with SAP (SAP R/3 and S/4HANA) is a plus;Knowledge of TM1 is a plus;Fluency in spoken and written English;Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility;Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.#J-18808-Ljbffr
