Description:
Talent Tree is an EdTech start-up headquartered in Ericeira, Portugal. We build evidence-based, student-centred learning analytics and coaching tools. Our Self-Learning System (SLS) helps students aged 12-18 set goals, reflect, and develop 21st-century skills, providing teachers with data-driven insights to act as effective coaches.
Mission you’ll join:
We partner with innovative secondary schools in the Netherlands to transform traditional classrooms into learner-driven environments. By improving our Mastery Dashboard and workflows, you will help shape how teachers identify individual struggles, scaffold executive-function skills, and foster student autonomy.
Talent Tree, founded in 2022, aims to personalise education and empower learners to take ownership of their education, helping them reach their full potential. Our platform monitors key executive skills such as goal-setting, planning, and reflection, reducing administrative tasks for teachers and providing valuable coaching insights.
Product / Offering:
The Talent Tree Student Dashboard enables students to generate their own data, fostering independence and saving teachers time. Our philosophy is: 'When students love using the tool, the data will follow.'
Schools:
We collaborate with innovative schools and forward-thinking teachers, currently focusing on partnerships with Dutch schools through a recent pilot program.
What you will do:
Typical activities include:
* Upgrade the Mastery Dashboards: co-design iterations, map key metrics, prototype views, run usability tests, and translate feedback into user stories.
* Visualise the learning process: analyse user roles and pain points, produce flow-charts, conduct interviews and workshops, and design surveys for evidence gathering.
Compensation:
Workweek is negotiable, with a minimum of 3 days per week. Full-time options are available.
