CarboCode SA () is a biotechnology company based in Biocant Park, Cantanhede, specializing in the development of technology for biomolecules, including oligosaccharides, glycoconjugates, glycolipids, and glycoproteins.
We are currently looking for a motivatedQuality Control Technician Internto support our laboratory operations, contributing directly to ensuring accurate and reliable analytical data for our R&D and production units.
You will join a multidisciplinary team in Cantanhede to assist in a wide range of analytical activities, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
This opportunity corresponds to a6-monthprofessional internship, co-financed by IEFP, aimed at integrating and developing young professionals in a dynamic and innovative technological environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in routine chromatography analyses (such as GC and HPLC) and classical chemistry methods (including titrations and spectrophotometric analyses).
Supporting the preparation of samples, reagents, and analytical standards.
Assisting in the daily maintenance, verification, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Documenting analytical results accurately and assisting in data analysis.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely data delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
M.Sc.
in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Theoretical knowledge or academic laboratory experience with chromatographic techniques and wet chemistry.
Familiarity with chromatography data systems (such as Chromeleon) is considered a plus.
Independent, structured, and proactive way of working with a strong attention to detail.
English writing and verbal communication skills are essential.
